How NDIS Assistive Technology funding and Home Care Packages work when buying equipment.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can fund mobility and daily living equipment as Assistive Technology when it is included in a participant's plan and considered "reasonable and necessary" for their disability-related needs.

Home Care Package (HCP) participants may also be able to use package funds for approved equipment. This is managed through your HCP provider, not directly through the NDIA, so check your specific provider's process and any pre-approval requirements before ordering.
